ACCOUNTS PAYABLES

The Ramada by Wyndham, St. Kitts Resorts has a wonderful new opportunity for suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Accounts Payables. The Accounts Payablescollects and reviews all payment/related documents and initiates creditors’ payments in accordance with the hotel procedures. The incumbent must ensure all charges and payments are posted to the correct ledger, and maintain and minimize the balance of the hotel’s accounts.

Requirements

  • An Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • At minimum two (2) years of work experience in accounting, finance or a similar field.
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is acceptable.
  • Proficiency with Opera accounting software is an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy of invoices and audit voucher package for all corresponding attachments.
  • Audit invoices for accuracy of the appropriate general ledger account codes.
  • Enter invoices into the computer for payment.
  • Copy voucher information and maintain completed A/P files locally.
  • Forward invoice registers and completed voucher packages for payment processing.
  • Provide support to other members of the Finance Department.
  • Assist management, when required, on projects, account analysis, and any other related matters.

TRAINING COORDINATOR

The Ramada by Wyndham, St. Kitts Resorts has a wonderful new opportunity for suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Training Coordinator. The Training Coordinatoris responsible for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development systems and processes. These will include managing corporation induction, training administration, performance development scheme arrangements, supporting the provision of management information and budget tracking.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.
  • At minimum two (2) years of work experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new staff.
  • Evaluate instructor performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop testing and evaluation procedures.
  • Conduct or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for staff.
  • Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Plan and implement training for staff development programs.
  • Analyse training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.

INCOME AUDITOR

The Ramada by Wyndham, St. Kitts Resorts has a wonderful new opportunity for suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Income Auditor. The Income Auditor ensures that the hotel's income is properly processed and reported. The incumbent is responsible for converting this information into meaningful management reports and supervises the hotel's General Cashier.

Requirements

  • At minimum an Associate’s degree in accounting or a related field. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

  • Verify that all revenue sales are correct.
  • Verify that guest ledger balance agrees with total all account detail balance.
  • Ensure that all sales voucher forms are used in sequence with any lost and void vouchers reported according to the procedure.
  • Ensure that the revenue and statistic reports are prepared in a timely manner.
  • Supervise the General Cashier.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

The Ramada by Wyndham, St. Kitts Resorts has a wonderful new opportunity for suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing all human resource policies, directing and coordinating Human Resource activities such as staff recruiting, performance management, organizational development, succession planning, training and leadership development, risk management, compensation and benefits, staff relations, and compliance with applicable laws.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in progressive managerial experience in human resources for a resort or hotel.
  • Knowledge of local labour laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the various HODs to understand, amend, implement and formulate where necessary, the policies and procedures of the company.
  • Oversee the company’s recruitment process including ensuring the effective onboarding of new employees.
  • Advise management on executing disciplinary and other employee-related activities.
  • Oversee the appraisal process as well as assist managers in carrying out the day-to-day performance management procedures.
  • See to the execution of activities and initiatives that help build a positive work environment.
  • Serve as the company’s onsite subject matter expert on labour laws, HR policies and procedures as well as their execution.
  • Manage administrative functions of the Human Resources Department including the maintenance of current HR files and databases.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures as it relates to Health and Safety as well as accident prevention and investigation are adhered to and assist with the coordination of programmes regarding Health and Safety.
  • Coordinate initiatives relating to employee engagement, process change and culture.
  • Complete termination paperwork and assist with exit interviews.

PURCHASING MANAGER

The Ramada by Wyndham, St. Kitts Resorts has a wonderful new opportunity for suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager is responsible for procurement, vendor management (distributors and equipment makers), negotiation, and cost and inventory management and controls. This position will have responsibility for the entire procure-to-pay process, essentially procuring the right equipment from the right vendors to be delivered at the best possible cost. This role is cross-functional, and the incumbent must demonstrate the ability to identify risks, manage resources, solve problems, and communicate effectively.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with vendors to align component orders and deliveries to the company’s needs over time.
  • Manage and monitor supply chain problems and vendor delivery performance and quality.
  • Build relationships with key vendors to ensure our access to critical components at best-in-class pricing.
  • Process high volume daily invoices, this includes routing invoices for approvals, coding, entering invoices, and processing payments.
  • Review all transactions for accurate coding, quantity, price, and use tax; and ensure each transaction has the appropriate supporting documents and approvals.
  • Create, reconcile and resolve purchase order, invoice, and payment discrepancies.

SPECIALITY CHEF (MEXICAN CUISINE)

The Speciality Chef is responsible for the quality, consistency and production of the speciality restaurant in Mexican cuisine. The Speciality Chef exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food-related functions. The incumbent is also responsible for coordinating menus, purchasing, staff schedules and food preparation for the property's speciality restaurant.

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in culinary arts is an asset.
  • Three or more years in the preparation of Mexican cuisine.
  • Two or more years in food service with a luxury 5-star brand. An international resort or hotel experience is preferred.
  • Experience and proficiency in both a la carte and production cooking.

General Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items.
  • Develop and implement creative menu items that adhere to Ramada by Wyndham brand standards.

  • Ensure that the culinary operation runs smoothly and effectively in accordance with the operational criteria of the property.

The Sous Chef is responsible for supervising food production and preparation for all restaurants, banquets and events at the Ramada by Wyndham, St. Kitts Resort. The incumbent will manage food production personnel and assists with food production tasks as needed to ensure that quality and cost standards are consistently attained.

Under the guidance of the Sales & Marketing Director, the Marketing & Social Media Officer helps to implement marketing plans that boost the hotel’s brand awareness. The incumbent is responsible for promoting the property's services and products to all target segments. The incumbent must coordinate with all departments for planned events. In addition, the incumbent must work closely with third-party partners, this includes the local media.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or relevant field.

  • Excellent organizational, planning, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering high quality and accurate work products/reports or results.

  • Assist the Director with the delivery and measurement of seasonal multi-channel marketing plans and campaigns, coordinating information as required from other departments to meet launch deadlines.
